We are stoked about this show coming up. Plus I’m a huge fan of Idle Warship. I just love the way that music genres are meshing and how there is less of a divide between style and artistic expression. If you feel like Hip Hop is moving light years ahead of where listeners are willing to follow, you had better learn to change your air wave frequency. Judging from this line up, music is going, going, gone…out of the realm of constraints.

I can’t even begin to accurately describe the amount of anger and hurt that I feel for this young lady that was brutally raped, humiliated, dehumanized, and scarred by her peers. I keep thinking in my head that I hope each participant and bystander gets anally raped by a horse-hung HIV positive inmate waiting for their death row sentence to be carried out at a later date. BUT I can’t think like that, I feel bad for judging others even though they are obviously wrong and deserve some sort of punishment.
I guess it’s because I can’t fully grasp the crime of rape. Stealing…I can understand (to an extent), Murder…I can understand (to a very delicate extent), and Tax Evasion…(I almost side with accused, it’s evening the odds as far as I’m concerned), but rape….I don’t get it.
And beyond the barbarity of one man raping another woman…I really do NOT understand the concept of gang rape! Not only is rape barbaric, cruel, disgusting, dehumanizing, and crass….the idea of gang rape is NASTY!!!! Like how do you get off on watching someone else abuse another human in a form of physical violence that is SUPPOSE to be consensual and loving. I really think this is a guy thing….so I gotta know. And you guys out there please explain it to me…c’mon, don’t lie…let me in on the secret, what is the attraction of entering another human’s body immediately after another man has done so.

For example, I had a very, very close male friend that recently made a joke about “running a train” on another female artist (in the NYC hip hop circuit). I know her, you know her, she’s probably reading this post right now. But he thought it was hilarious…and this guy is probably one of the nicest people I know. I’d never think that anything like that would enter his head. (It just goes to show that you NEVER really know a person.) Anyways, my question remains, why do guys “get off” on group sex acts involving one woman and multiple men?
I ask because according to reports, several people walked by, witnessed the rape, became aroused and decided to join in…if that’s not sick enough, others recorded footage on their phones, took pictures and posted it to the internet. This is some serious sick shyt that I really don’t get. Help me understand… I’m trying not to loose fate in the entire human race, especially not the youth.
I AM NOT UNDERSTANDING THIS. Folks, please explain how I got selected for jury duty. I’ve been a residence of NYC since 2005; HOWEVER, I’m pretty sure the government has NOT made it through the other 8 million people in this huge as city. What’s the deal folks. So, it’s Tuesday night and I’m at SOB’s. It’s a SEA of people, and just like the ocean, no one can sit still like the movement of the water. As the waves of folks swim back and forth within the walls of this legendary live music spot, all I can think about is, when is who is FKi? I’m thinking, they’re from Atlanta, but I never heard of them. Hmmmmm? Any ways, by the time their set was over, I knew who they were and was definitely a fan of their show. Not to mention my homeboy (of a homeboy) Dana was rocking the drums throughout their entire set and made it that much more dope!
So then Stalley comes to the stage in which my lil bro Rocki Evans was assisting with some background vocals, and this is where the show went from dope to AWESOME!!!!! Talk about live musicians who can ROCK OUT!!!! Everything was great. There was a point in the show where the keyboard malfunctioned and they had to switch the keyboard out, and everything was still entertaining as Stalley took a second to spit a dope accapello for the crowd.
